Research for Change: Feminist Internet Research Network

In 2018, APC launched the Feminist Internet Research Network (FIRN), conducting research at the intersection of feminism, internet, and technology-facilitated gender-based violence. This initiative created a network of researchers examining these issues from diverse global perspectives.

FIRN exemplified APC's commitment to evidence-based advocacy, producing knowledge that could inform policy and practice while building research capacity within feminist movements. The network represented an important step in developing more robust understandings of how gender and technology interact across different contexts.
