The Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia (ISEA) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP), in collaboration with the Association for Progressive Communications (APC), Internet Society (ISOC), Right Energy Partnership with Indigenous Peoples (REP), Indigenous Peoples Major Group for Sustainable Development (IPMG), and the Asia-Pacific Regional CSO Engagement Mechanism - Social and Community Enterprise Constituency, are organising an APFSD Associated Event on 24 February 2025, from 10:00 to 12:00 Bangkok/Jakarta Time (GMT+7) / 11:00 to 13:00 Manila/Beijing Time, entitled "Empowering Communities: Connectivity Initiatives for Sustainable Development in the Asia-Pacific".
The event will be held in a hybrid format, with in-person participants joining at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand, and online participants connecting via Zoom. It will also be live-streamed on Facebook Live.
